Great property. Very comfortable king bed. Renovated. Easy free carparking. Very spacious room

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rivulet, Sandy Bay. Within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and close enough to drive to Battery Point and Salamanca. The Corinna room and bathroom are beautifully designed and furnished. The continental breakfast was sensational!

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful part of Hobart Would be helpful if house number was better signed. As far as comfort goes suggest a better mattress in 3rd bedroom the old spring type mattress is not comfortable for an adult Also in lounge chairs, look lovely but not very comfy. Maybe an old style lounge would suit better

Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was quite high for the dated room. The shower was full of mould, the showerhead kept falling and the water only dribbled out, the extra blanket taken from the cupboard was dirty and the room smelt stale. Despite booking a carpark, it was difficult to find one and even had to park in the drop off parks twice overnight

The hotel is a lovely old establishment, one of the first in Hobart. We were very happy with the reception staff as they were very polite and helpful. Although the site shows pictures of the lovely dining and restaurant area don’t expect it to be open unless it’s the peak season,this was not specified on the site and we were disappointed we couldn’t dine there. Our room was very spacious with an enormous oversized bed and a nice view of the old church opposite. A bit dusty behind the bed but otherwise very clean. I would recommend it just for the old world charm and very central location to shops and the harbor.
